Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has announced a General Election will take place on 4th July 2024. In just 6 weeks UK voters will vote to determine who runs the country.
We are called to pray for our nation and leaders. It can feel daunting but it does not have to. Sunak's decision was a surprise to many but not to God. First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. I Timothy 2:1-2 ESV
