Jesus called the peacemakers blessed. A peacemaker is someone who makes or generates peace. Making peace means to do, create, or bring forth peace. Far from being passive, it is active and productive. As we read the verses below we find that peacemakers put effort into creating peaceful environments and relationships. Making peace is also supposed to be a priority of every believer.
More than once in the Bible God is called the God of peace. That is why people will be able to identify who our Father is when we become peacemakers ("for they shall be called sons of God"). Yes, Christianity is revolutionary and disruptive but it is also to carry the hallmark of peace. Jesus came to disrupt world and religious systems. In fact, to do away with them and replace them with His Father's kingdom. Jesus also came so we could have peace with God (see Isaiah 53:5). This peace should be reflected in our relationships with fellow believers and the unsaved. We can use wisdom to allow God's peace to be reflected in our dealings with God's beloved creation.
Think about how you can make peace as you Write the Scriptures below:

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God."

Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

So then let us pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.
2 Corinthians 13:11
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
1 Peter 3:10–11
Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it.
James 3:17-18
But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
1 Thessalonians 5:12–13
We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labour among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
